Eclipse Z is characterised by a unique regular particle shape, as opposed to irregular shape particles that are common in the industry with aesthetic and performance benefits as a result.
Highest transparency in the industry
Eclipse is combining the best of both worlds: the industry's best transparency on skin, without sacrificing UVA and UVB protection that is traditionally associated with other transparent grades.
Lowest impact on formula viscosity & aesthetics
The regular particle shape allows for Eclipse to form a more efficient packing density in an oil phase. This leads to less entanglements between particles, resulting in lower viscosity and better aesthetics in finished formulas.
Uncoated that works as coated
Eclipse Z has a different surface chemistry than other grades (no foreign molecules on its surface), resulting in very stable formulas and pH values over time. In fact, the pH development is similar to that of (other) coated ZnO grades.
